Wolf asked me some questions and gave his input on a few things, and I'm hoping this will clear some things up.
Q1) Why wasn't everyone included in the decision-making?
A) Two reasons: time and maturity. We wanted this to happen ASAP, and we wanted to get responses. We didn't want people's 3-paragraph essays on why they hate the clan now.
Q2) Medium admins really got screwed
A) Here's how it broke down when it came to mediums. It was based on how long they had been admins, how many abuse claims they had, how often they were online, etc. What most don't realize is that Member now has a much-more difficult acceptance process, because we now want to really trust our Members. Nobody was demoted, they either stayed the same rank or moved up
Q3) How come donators can pay their way to Member?
A) They cannot. Members have much more command, are much less likely to lose their admin (since we trusted them enough to put them there in the first place), and have higher immunity. Donators get basic admin to make sure the game is played right.
Q4) Why were recruits and members kicked out?
A) Nobody was kicked out. Recruits and members were people that played with the clan and were known by the clan. Casuals are people that play in the community. When they are well-known, well-trusted, etc, they can move up.
Q5) How come people (one person) was unbanned from a permanent ban? People can simply get unbanned because they donated?
A) Simple answer: No
Extended answer: Delm was permanently banned for saying something inappropriate in Teamspeak. When we were discussing the system, we were also discussing the massive amounts of perma-bans we had and how none of them had comments. When we came across Delm, we agreed that his actions did not deserve a perma-ban. His donation had nothing to do with it.
